(5) Becky today went step-by-step through a problem-solving guide. I could send & receive both from the phone. Meanwhile I had lost connectivity between the phone & the Mac, first for MMS messages, and a bit later for iMessages. Then I spent hours changing each setting I could find back to my own preferences. (4) Apple Customer Care told me to reset all settings I did. (3) Alert tones worked for 24 hours, then Message alert tones went silent. (2) To fix this, Apple Customer Care told me to download 13.1.2 I did. ![]() Essentially: (1) Alert tones for phone & messages went silent. I gave her all the bits & pieces of what had happened to my computer & phone last week. I spent 2-1/4 hours on the phone with Becky from Apple Customer Care (1 (800) 275-2273) today.
